Two men

I made a new friend recently. He's been coming down to the store since the past few months. Not often, but regularly. He rents 70s horror movies like Audrey Rose and Alice, Sweet Alice, the one in which Brooke Shield made a debut in film as a fragile, little thing. There are the occasional chick flicks like Forgetting Sarah Marshall too, which rental he shamefully renewed.

We talk sometimes; just step out of the store for a ciggy in the back alley. Two men of different cultures, races, and upbringings. And we connect.

I enjoy his company. It's like being in the company of myself in two separate entities.

Weird. But good.

I should ask him to join me on a fishing trip.
